Pertinaxes

Pertinax (also known as RILMA) is a counter form, which allows crumbing the bended edges of the packaging at the same time as cutting. It is an alternative to a traditional set of counter-benders. It also speeds up the make-ready time of the cutting machines and improves the quality of the product. Bending a several lines which are close to each other or bending curved lines is possible only with pertinaxes. It is especially recommended to use pertinaxes in small units, where a high number of short bending blades causes problems with equipping the die-cut in traditional counter-benders.
